Teach Yoga From The Heart
Learn a holistic and spiritual approach that integrates the Vedic teachings of yoga & meditation with modern mind-body awareness practices.

Gain Skills & Confidence
Develop the essential skills you need to teach Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative/Yin classes with confidence. Learn how to teach safely and compassionately to make the world a better place.

Deepen Your Practice
Take the time to reconnect within. Many students simply take this training to slow down, reflect, and find purpose again. There’s no pressure to teach until you are called to.

Learn To Teach Meditation
Meditation is the key to truly transform lives. Learn a lineage-based Vedic pranayama and meditation practice used by enlightened masters to realize your Highest Self and learn to teach this sacred science to others to help them live a more peaceful, healthy, balanced and purposeful life.

225 hours, 2 Certifications
You leave with a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate, which makes you eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200, and a separate 25-hour meditation certificate. Blooming Lotus Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, so the 25 meditation teacher training hours count as continuing education requirements.

Come Back, Free, For Life
Once you’ve graduated, you can retake the full 200-hour training with us again at no cost, as often as you want. Learning to teach doesn’t finish on graduation day, and we regularly have graduates return two or three times to deepen their practice, teaching skills and reconnect with community.

Taught In A Living Tradition
Blooming Lotus Yoga is a Vedic-based school, in the non-dual Goddess tradition called Shri Vidya. Philosophy, pranayama and meditation carry the same importance here as asana — which is why this training suits people who want authentic yoga, not only the postures.

Maximum 18 Students
Practicum time — actually teaching, being watched, being compassionately corrected — is where confidence comes from, and isn’t possible in large groups. Many Bali trainings run up to 30 students. We intentionally keep to a maximum of 18 so everyone gets the personal attention and training they need.

Teach Yoga Nidra
Learn to guide the powerful meditation technique called Yoga Nidra that will expand your teaching skills and empower you to help heal and transform the lives of others. This unique meditation is accessible to all people in all walks of life and becomes an invaluable tool of transformation that distinguishes you as a teacher.

What You Won't Learn, and Why
Ashtanga, Bikram, Hot & Aerial Styles of Yoga: These are not our tradition and it’s too much to realistically promise in a 3-week course. These approaches to yoga are not designed to be “multi-style.” They are their own distinct lineages. If you wish to be certified in these systems there are many other wonderful courses that specialize in each of them. With us, you will learn hatha, vinyasa and restorative/yin.
Yoga as fitness: If you are looking for a fitness-based training and don’t want to learn the roots of yoga, meditation or spiritual practices this training is not a good fit. With us, you will not practice yoga as exercise, but rather explore how yoga is a holistic system that integrates body, mind and soul.
Forceful shatkarmas, kundalini awakening & tantric techniques: These are traditionally meant to be practiced with strict dietary regulations under the direct supervision of an experienced teacher over long periods. They are not suitable for most people and when taught casually can create more harm than good.
Dangerous adjustments that could cause injury: You’ll learn safe, trauma-informed adjustments and methods that prevent and heal injuries rather than cause them.
Ways to commercialise yoga. Instead of a “business of yoga” module, you’ll be given an ethical framework for attracting people to your classes in ways that feel honest to you.

What makes Blooming Lotus Yoga so unique?
Our Vision: Blooming Lotus Yoga was founded with the intention of spreading the sacred wisdom of classical yoga by adapting the mystical and spiritual approach of the Vedic tradition to meet the needs of modern spiritual seekers. Through our comprehensive 8-step yoga training process we have developed an innovative new way for students to study the noble art of yoga and meditation without the struggles associated with traditional teacher trainings or the nonsense of the new-age. Our aim is to empower you with practical and transformative self-development tools which purify the body/mind at the deepest level so the remembrance of your own Divinity may awaken. Through this spiritual awakening you will transform into a real yogi or yogini and become capable of guiding others on the path as you live a more balanced, compassionate & enlightened life.

Our Kindness: A portion of your tuition costs are donated to charities serving some of the most impoverished communities in Bali and rural India. By participating in this course you are directly contributing to relieving the suffering of countless people in dire need.

Courses are conducted in English, so students need to be able to read, write and discuss the material.
